Important News

You’ve been a huge part of EcoBonus®, the first-ever, multi-brand, eco-friendly rewards program. Since our launch, we have grown to over 50,000 members.

We built an information community so members could make informed shopping choices, brought in respected national brands and smaller, regional ones, and rewarded shoppers for making eco-conscious decisions. We developed an app to make earning points even easier, and we offered coupons as rewards so members could try other eco-friendly products at a reduced cost.

While these were great strides in the right direction, we haven’t been able to scale the program quickly enough to make it a success. To that end, we’ve made the difficult decision to end the EcoBonus program.

This means members will have a few more weeks to earn points, and an additional month to exchange those points for rewards. After that time, EcoBonus.com will be shuttered.

We know this may be disappointing news, and we’d like to help members get the most out of the remaining time with EcoBonus. Here are the key dates to keep in mind.

Key dates for members*

1/31/14:

Last day to download the EcoBonus app from Google Play or the App Store so you can upload receipts containing eligible products from select retailers.

2/28/14:

Last day to upload receipts for points via the EcoBonus app.

3/31/14:

Last day to enter codes from Annie’s, Nature’s Gate, and Seventh Generation packages for points at EcoBonus.com.

4/30/14:

Last day to spend points/select a reward.

5/1/14:

EcoBonus.com website no longer available.

*All changes take place after midnight Pacific Standard Time.

Great rewards available

We want to make sure all members who have earned points are able to choose a reward. While supplies last, we’ve lowered our Woodstock coupon for $1 off any frozen fruit or vegetable to 1 point!  And for 8 points, members can get a coupons from other well-known brands like King Arthur Flour, Little Duck Organics, Lotus Foods Rice, and many more. You’ll want to move fast to snag these coupons. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

If donating points to charity is more your style, we’ve got almost a dozen nonprofits to consider.

  • Help Vitamin Angels deliver essential vitamins and minerals needed by young children and mothers so they can lead meaningful and productive lives.
  • Assist Healthy Child Healthy World in empowering parents to take action and protect children from harmful chemicals.
  • Donate to the Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness, a group that helps ensure clean air, water, and wildlife habitat so that future generations of paddlers can experience the pristine, wild landscapes of the BWCAW, a wilderness area within the Superior National Forest in northern Minnesota.
  • If you have only 1 point, make it count by donating to it to Feed My Starving Children, whose meals are distributed in nearly 70 countries through partnerships with orphanages, schools, clinics, refugee camps and malnourishment centers.

Sweepstakes in Progress

You’ve probably heard about the Baby Gear Sweepstakes that is currently in progress. Know that this promotions will continue as planned, and winners will be picked according to the original schedules. So keep uploading those receipts for your chance to win!
